A look into the weathermap shows interesting data: It is getting cold in the next days. Very cold. Very, very cold. The "Russian Winter" killed Napoleon's army, it killed Hitler's army, it is going to kill the Russian army. The reasons are very simple: If you don't heat a tank engine every few hours, it's not going to fire up, it would take hours and lots of fuel. And let's not forget the soldiers (the images seen from Russian soldiers show normal war gear, not winter gear). Without heat, they will simply freeze to death without running engines. So the next days are a race against the cold for the Russians. Get into Kiev or likely lose everything. |
Looking at Accuweather it doesn't seem to get cold, hardly a winter. Ukraine is better off with rasputitsa I think. Which weathermap are you looking at?
