To be honest, I only said 16GB of RAM because it's half the quantity of the full Orin SoC, and that alone would be enough to drive powe consumption down by quite a lot, but yes, 8GB could be enough for a console that should target native 1080p on docked mode with DLSS to upscale that to 4K.
