Good to see them bringing out patches so quickly. This seems to fix the area loading stutters which are the most frequent in my experience as the shader complication seems to be more of a one time thing that needs to happen when something new comes along. Hopefully they can fix that too.

I will say that I did experience something super dumb with ER. See I play ER at 4k on my Desktop but sometimes, I like to lie down on my bed and play games on my laptop with a 2070. Now when most developers do cloud saves, they sync the save data but doesn't sync the config file. But someone at From decided, no, we will also sync the config file. So I had this situation where because the desktop was set to 4k, when I loaded the game on my laptop, it was running at 4k but because the laptop has a resolution of 1080p, I could only see a quarter of the screen. So in order to fix it, I had to go back to my desktop, set the resolution to 1080p, then load the game back up on my laptop.

It sometimes really does feel like the PC version gets the intern treatment.

But for real, having to go back to your desktop, just to reset a cloud config file, so you can then play it on your lappy sounds like something straight out of the early 00's level of shittery.
