The problem is that he's mixing different problems into the same thing, making him look like a fool.
He even acknowledges some of them in a separate reply:

Scams, another term to define the crime called fraud, has nothing to do with Steam's or Apple's cut for each sale, and Valve is not only banning NFTs because they think they're bad, but also to protect themselves because, if NFTs are labeled as fraud at some point, Steam could face charges for being a necessary accomplice to commit that crime.
So no, he doesn't have a point. He's just using NFTs to attack, once again, their competition.
Also, if he's so supportive of NFTs, he could have claimed his support by now and allow NFT based games on the Epic Store where, hypocritally enough, they also get a cut from each sale, even if it's smaller than the one Steam gets.
