Another day messing around with settings (consoles really are just like PC gaming now sigh)

Back to the 4K HDR set, abandoned performance mode (too broken), resolution mode, no motion blur and HDR settings calibrated in game. (The game ignores the system level HDR calibration ugh)

It takes some time getting used to 30 fps again and in this game it's far from ideal in combat due to the wild camera swings. Thus now I always try to keep my distance and use bows 99% of the time, sticking to ranged combat. Shimmering is still there in 30fps, as well as brightness changing when turning, but it's much less noticeable than in performance mode, and easier to ignore.

These are the settings that 'work' for my Sony 4K HDR set

Default is way too bright with grey blacks and causes a lot of the white out and color bleeding issues.

HDR toned down, it's now looking pretty amazing
