Well, that can happen in any title match with more than two people.
In this case, Rollins powerbombed Austin theory through lashley's cell, lashley was knocked back, hit a beam and went into concussion protocol. I think it was a work, but it was pretty well done. There's a small part of me who thinks it may have been real.
Assuming it was planned, it was the right call. Now Lashley has a legitimate claim for a match against the winner. Or, they could do something like they did with Bret Hart and Luger back in the day. Lesnar vs Lashley night one and the winner faces Reigns. Although that's a hat on a hat.
It's not like a terrible outcome. I like unifying the titles in general. And Reigns vs Lashley is definitely the match you want at Mania. Just wish they didn't need to devalue everyone else to get there.
