I have bought my PS3 on June 12th, the day MGS 4 launched it is amazing, great game. I have passed it three times and MGO was a blast too. I just picked up UnCharted, GTA 4 and COD 4. Looking forward to the upcoming games.

Only drawback with the PS3 is it uses heaps of electricity. Well my folks foot the bill its sweet. I have heard PS3 uses 5 times more electricity than the other consoles. Not a big deal.

PS3 uses less electricity now than it did previously. It still cures cancer, though.

 

A PC cures cancer faster. How could you knowingly delay the cures for cancers and prolong the suffering of children just because you cheaped out and did your folding on a PS3? HOW COULD YOU JUSTIFY IT HUH?!?!?!

Btw, I wouldn't buy a PS3 even if it was $200. I just wouldn't get any benefit from it. Im sure others would though. Even @ 100 dollars I would say I had better things to spend my money on. BTW if you think about it, the above definately isn't trolling.

 

I ask the cheaping out question about 360 all the time...how much cancer is it curing, btw? Way to switch the comparison PCs, though.

Plus, PS3's very visible option in the XMB increased the overall power of the folding project really quickly by getting people to fold that never would have started if it was only on the PC and one had to make a significant effort to go seek out the folding project

PS3 cancer research contribution divided by cost of all PS3s active is probably STILL much > PC cancer research contribution divided by cost of all PCs active. (though this is because a lot of older PCs are probably used in addition to new buffed PCs)

I wouldn't buy 360 at $200, either (plus $50/year for online gameplay and $80 for wifi and still get no bluray...).
