Activision made over $5,000,000,000 on microtransactions alone in 2021. Holy shit. They made more off MTX than Sony spent to buy Bungie, and they spent a shit ton to buy Bungie.
Really shows why all of these companies are going towards live service games, they can make a killing in revenue.
