Which was a spin on the old Mastermind game.


Wordle is a simple app that lets you guess a new word every day.

Everyone gets the same word and everyone brags about how many tries they needed to guess the word. You enter a guess and the app shows you which letters are in the word and which letter are in the right place. Just like Mastermind except there it's colored pegs. (guess the sequence)

Perhaps the NY Times thinks it's great to have for their online newspaper like the daily crossword puzzle.
