Here's another NFT's video made by an actual video game developer. Its quite easy to digest and he explains why it doesn't really work in the way people think it would/could in games. There's no incentive for publishers/devs internal and external to support content through different titles. NFT's are quite simply a scam, to get people to invest on promise.. and should it take off can and will cause irrevocable damage to the video games industry.
TLDW - Its just a business model designed to extract as much money from whales possible. All while exploiting users.
