Maybe I could have written it differently, but I said what I said. If you want to edit my OP to something that you think would be spoiler free and get the point across, you have my permission. Spoiler! I think two conversations to fully unlock a characters bio would be really small for the type of game, based on how they described free time, and how many presents there are, how many coins you've gotten by that point etc. I could just be very smart, but I felt it was obvious. |
Nah, it's not a problem, and it's your situation to share, so it's up to you if you want to share it without the spoilers attached or not. And to be precise I didn't actually play the game, but I watched the anime, so
*Trigger Happy Havoc spoilers* Spoiler! I'm not sure how the journal system was presented at that point, as it didn't exist in the anime. But was it not plausible at that point to suspect that the story may branch depending on your choices, and it can lead to Person B dying instead of Person A? Since this was before anyone had died. And I have played some similar visual novel games where you can affect the order of who dies next. |
Spoiler!
You know by that point that there are a lot of collectable presents, way more than would be needed if it was two convos a pop. More importantly though, by that time, you know there will be trials, and I can't imagine how they could make different trials throughout the game, based on who dies and who is alive at what point, and still have sensible conclusions. Maybe that's just a lack of imagination on my part, but it seems impossible.
