Cause it has for me. I'm playing Trigger Happy Havoc on Gamepass, and after *spoilers ahead*

giving Sayaka a second gift it said I completely filled our her page in the journal... And that only 3% or so of gamers have done that. So, this really didn't take that long, and so few people have done it... which could only mean, this girl is going to die very soon. Which is sad because I liked her.

Sure enough...

So, have achievements ever spoiled a game for you?

While I empathize with being disappointed about being spoiled, I do have a few observations to make:

1. I assume the only way to check achievement percentage is by actively looking at the achievement (like PS trophies). Just avoid doing this in the future and your problem is solved for the rest of your life :)

2. Danganronpa has only been out on Xbox for less than a week. Using an achievement percentage to assume story spoilers seems a little premature.

3. Danganronpa is a 12 year old game, with releases on the PSP, Vita, PS4, Steam, Smartphones, and Switch already. Good chance ppl who've already played the game are just doing another run through for nostalgia purposes and are just doing the minimum needed to finish the game.

Again, I empathize. But I honestly can't think of a single instance where any of my +6500 trophies actually spoiled anything.

1. Nope. The percentage will pop up with the achievement.

2. I'm not 100% sure how percentages work, but this was REALLY early in the game. And it's an incredibly easy achievement to get.

3. I would assume the purpose of making it available on a new platform is to attract new users to the series. If the majority of people are people who have played it already that's pretty odd. It's a pretty easy achievement to get which involves

talking to a character one more time than you otherwise have to. And it's the one character you'll have been forced to interact with the most at that point, and really encouraged to build a relationship with.

I would also point out that my prediction on what would happen was spot on. So, it could be that I'm psychic, or just have really good intuition, but I think it's more likely that the achievement spelled it out for me.

Don't really need empathy, and I'm still enjoying the game a lot. Just curious if that had happened to anyone else.
