Vanillaware has outdone themselves; They have written the best storyline to appear in a JRP in like 20 years.

I felt the same way, but when you play the game it becomes very clear that the RTS section, while fun, is not the point at all. Normal mode is a cakewalk. If you reeaally don't want to be bothered at all with the RTS part, just switch to easy. Not only is it brain dead at that point, the enemy waves are reduced. No consequences.
