We liked XCOM 2 an awful lot, awarding it a whopping 94% in our 2016 review—the kind of score we don't hand out lightly. So we'll definitely be keeping an eye on happenings at a new studio called Bit Reactor, announced today by co-founder Greg Foertsch, formerly the art director at XCOM and Civilization studio Firaxis.

Activision is delaying Call of Duty: Warzone's next season by a few weeks to focus on fixing bugs. The publisher announced in a blog post today that Vanguard and Warzone Pacific season 2 launch has been pushed from February 2 to February 14—a lovely day for a Warzone update.

Halo Infinite hotfix did not fix the Big Team Battle matchmaking problem

Halo Infinite's Big Team Battle multiplayer mode hasn't been working as intended for quite some time now: Large matchmaking parties have trouble getting into games, and when players do get in, they're often disconnected. A patch for the problem went live today, making "minor service adjustments to improve Big Team Battle matchmaking," but sadly it turns out those adjustments were a little too minor.
