If this means we can have the Activision of yesteryear, that published diverse and great games like Blur, Prototype, Singularity, Starcraft... I would be happy.

Activision studios used to have a lot more freedom, before all being relegated to be CoD/Warzone support studios. Maybe CoD won't need to release every year. As concerning as consolidation is, overall if this happens then I'd say it as a positive for the gaming industry. Kotick will leave too, which is also great for the industry.
