They're always updating it with new features and they nail it every time. I think I enjoy it more than regular console gaming. And I think it stomps the PSVR in every way except graphics complexity. If there's a game for PSVR that is also available for the Quest 2, I buy the Quest version. I've even re-purchased several games that I already own on PSVR because the Quest is just a better experience. |
I admit, though I really like and enjoy VR, I was the first to shun it (and all other standalone headsets) due to inside-out tracking and mobile SoC inside of it. And I would probably keep on doing it if it wasn't for my annoying kids. I'm not ashamed to say it, but I was very wrong and I really like OQ2.
Looking forward to see what will they do with OQ3 and to be honest, I'm starting to wonder if Nintendo will jump on with something similar (I can pretty much envision some future Nintendo system were all you have is small cube with SoC and memory inside of it that you insert into whatever you like - whether it's handheld shell, VR set or TV dock - whichever you bought (or all of them) and you're good to go).
