Nope to both.

For 24 I was first thinking Cyberpunk 2077, but the second hint made me go perhaps not. So I figured maybe a futuristic racing game. If it's not F-Zero, my other guess is;

WipeOut 2048

Though I guess it's a little depressing if you expect to not be around in 2048 anymore.
