The livestream for the announcement of the Another Eden x Square Enix crossover took place today. As the datamines revealed, it is with Chrono Cross, leading credence to the rumors that a remaster/remake is in the works. Website for the crossover here.
The link between the two games is that Masato Kato, scenario director and script writer for Another Eden, also was the director for Chrono Cross.

Following reports that beloved PlayStation RPG Chrono Cross might have a remaster in the works, another unrelated piece of official news is helping fuel the Chrono nostalgia even more. Chrono Cross is getting its first-ever crossover event by making an appearance in mobile JRPG Another Eden, beginning on December 9.
The crossover will last until 9 Dec 2026.
