Despite Ron Rivera's best efforts, Washington manages to hang on.

Just watched the highlights of the game. Really strange that Rivera didn't go for a field goal at the end of the game to make it a two-score-game. With only two minutes left to play it doesn't make that much of a difference whether you are up 11 or 15 points, it's miracle territory for the other team either way.

Yesterday I was pondering if I shouldn't change my pick to the Seahawks, but then I remembered Carroll's statement about how it has become a mystery for Seattle to score. Indeed, the Seahawks played again like that against the Football Team.

The crazy thing is that the 3-8 Seahawks still have the run-the-table scenario available to them, because they are only 2.5 games behind the seventh seed in the NFC right now. A 9-8 record will most likely be good enough this year. But realistically, the Seahawks stand no chance and are in a shape where they'll have to rebuild next year, perhaps with a new head coach.

Washington's kicker got injured, which is why they had to go for 2pt conversions and 4th downs. Also seems like they rushed Wilson back too early from his broken finger.
