Itshappening :o

I got a new phone recently with a newer AMOLED screen with high refresh rate and this news its a hell yes! Those screens get insanely bright (as screens go never mind for an OLED) and so smooth. For this, I'd expect this to do the same with ever better color reproduction. The issue with current large OLEDs is their limited brightness which affects HDR, especially if you use it in a well rooms. Man, UW gaming with pure blacks sure does excite the hell outta me!

Yea the fight between mini-LEDs and OLEDs are gonna be interesting. I think next year, we gonna see some really good options in the PC monitor space with the upcoming Samsung monitors and the LG 42 inch OLED. Maybe it's about time we get our piece of the pie!

For sure. Gonna be a good year for new flagship monitors. OLED's finally coming to smaller sizes and with Samsung producing OLED's monitor panels and AUO joining in hopefully they will come down in price too to more reasonable levels. Personally I'm waiting on mini-LED's to come down as it fits my usage better.

But yeah I have a feeling this is the start where were can finally move on from regular LCDs. If Samsung can mass produce these panels like they can on phones (with their Super AMOLED's) this could be the biggest jump in monitor tech we've seen in a long time.

And Valve loosing interest in VR isn't good :/ It doesn't seem like many big publishers/devs outside of Meta (Facebook of W/E) and Sony have much interest in it.
