Latest LG C1 & G1 Hit by HDCP 2.2 Bug, But Firmware Fix is Coming
LG OLED TVs manufactured after September goes into potato mode when you plug in a 4k HDR enabled device like a PS5/Series X thanks to HDCP 2.2 bug. Instead of giving you 4k 120hz HDR, you are limited to 1080p 120hz no HDR. LG says there is a firmware fix coming but no word on an ETA.
There goes my OLED purchase. PS: Fuck HDCP
