Bethesda games are some of the best around, Oblivion was one of my top 3 from that generation, and Skyrim one of my top 3 from that generation, fallout 3, vegas and 4 also fantastic. To deny that these games are great is just justifying not having them available on ps5. Stop being fans of systems and just accept reality.
Are the games great, yeah definitely, does ps5 also have great exclusives, for sure, no doubt about it. Will you miss out if you don't own a PC/xbox, PS5 and switch? Yes
Even if you were to not spend money on a series X or an expensive PC, you could just get a second hand one X which is already amazing hardware for only 120 dollars. If you cant afford 120 on a system, then you wont survive as a gamer, considering video games are now 70-80 dollars, in fact I just preordered GT7 which was 90 dollars. Same with the switch, I've seen some switches on second hand classifieds for only 150 dollars.
With that said, if you can only have one console I'd choose PS5, sony's game selection is the best, spiderman, god of war, GT7, ghost of tsushima, dead stranding, Horizon zero dawn, Returnal, demon souls, ratchet, days gone, uncharted, the last of us, shadow of the colossus, persona 5, bloodborne and many more, I'm even enjoying loco roco at the moment, there's just too many essential games on PS5 to miss out.
