Dark Souls: Remastest Version 2.0 adds to the game numerous weapons from Halo: Combat Evolved. Yeap, you can now experience Dark Souls with guns. This will obviously make the game a lot easier, however, it’s something that most Dark Souls and Halo fans will find really cool.
However, Dark Souls: Remastest is not just a weapons mod for Dark Souls. For instance, the mod adds new multiplayer modes (like Team Deathmatch), as well as MP maps from Halo: Combat Evolved.

This Mass Effect Legendary Edition Mod aims to completely overhaul the final mission of ME3

The TEB team has released the first version of a must-have mod for Mass Effect Legendary Edition. According to its description, Take Earth Back is an overhaul for the final mission of Mass Effect 3 with the aim of representing the allies you have gathered over the course of the trilogy, fixing bugs and adding ambient immersive events.
Moreover, this mod promises to be compatible with some other story mods, such as Expanded Galaxy Mod and Spectre Expansion Mod.
Take Earth Back overhauls the Earth hub to feature more than 28 war assets, as well as cut content restorations, new interactive conversations and more. Additionally, the Hammer landing sequence and beam run have had minor overhauls.

New 4K Texture Pack for Valheim greatly overhauls the game’s graphics

Modders “panoc” and “Willybach” have released an amazing 4K Texture Pack for Valheim that you must download. According to the duo, the purpose of this mod is to transform Valheim’s visuals into a modern-era triple-A game.
This new 4K Texture Pack features high-quality textures for your Valheim world, HD map and mini-map plus new particles that replace the default vanilla square ones. The mod currently covers all existing textures of the game, flora, building items, weapons, armors, creatures etc.
This Texture Pack comes in two versions. The High Version is using 8K terrain atlas and 4K/2K/1K textures. So yeah, some really small textures are not 4K but this is to be expected.

Sprawling Red Alert 2 mod Mental Omega is finally finished

When we first wrote about Mental Omega back in 2018, the now 16 year old mod was already huge. But what Phil said at the time is still true, it's "a dramatic expansion" to one of the last great classic RTS. Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2 is one of those games that has a lot of fans not just because of its absurdly enjoyable FMV cutscenes, though those do rule, but because it's a hell of a lot of fun.
Its oddly asymmetrical factions and strange balance only got weirder with the Yuri's Revenge expansion, but the creators of Mental Omega really understand the game in a way that you'd need some 16 years of development time to implement. First rebalancing, then rebuilding the game with an entirely extra faction, and finally charting their own story for the game world's future through 133 campaign missions spread across the Allies, Soviets, the Yuri faction, and the new Foehn.

Frogwares has issued an official statement about the comparison that some people make between Sherlock Holmes Chapter One and triple-A games. According to its CEO, Sherlock Holmes Chapter One is not a triple-A game, and people should not be comparing it with games from bigger teams (that are also more expensive than it).

Warner Bros has removed the Denuvo anti-tamper tech from Injustice 2

Following Bandai Namco’s, Square Enix’s, Crytek’s and 2K Games’ example, Warner Bros has removed Denuvo from Injustice 2. Injustice 2 came out on PC in 2017, so it took Warner Bros and NetherRealm Studios almost four years in order to remove it.
