FSR Balanced vs. DLSS Performance... ouch!

https://www.overclock3d.net/reviews/software/deathloop_patch_1_tested_-_dlss_vs_fsr_and_more/3

The only real benefit of FSR is that it's one step better than no upscaling. TAA Upscaling or DLSS generally is able to have much better results. AMD just wasn't ready to compete against Nvidia with RDNA 2 outside of Raster. Maybe RDNA 3 will change that.

Hmm something to consider for my new pc building sim super build.

I thought about it but I think 48 inches and some of the other issues with OLED and monitors starting to catch up with Mini-LED makes me not want to bite the bullet.

If this was a couple of years ago or even 2020, OLED would be my only option but I think mini-LED, least for me is the way to go. I am personally thinking of the Odyssey Neo G9 as most of the issues have been fixed and the HDR is pretty fap worthy. While still not as good as OLED, it's still very good. The only issue is that it's 49 inch super ultrawide so I might just wait until the 32 or ultrawide monitors with Mini-LEDs that will be coming out next year.
