I just checked the article on videocardz about this (there are also results for Rainbow Six Siege and Shadow of the Tomb Raider) and it's worth noting that the 12900K results are in WIndows 11 while the ones from the 5950X are in WIndows 10, so it's not an apples to apples comparison. (I was still sleepy, sorry) Also, testing those CPUs with a 6600 is misleading as well. The systems are GPU limited for sure. |
While the 6600 would limit the GPU portion, the CPU should in theory be a separate benchmark. But it's hard to tell how it will all perform without the final drivers and such.
