Thursday news, part two:
Bungie is teasing the death of another major Destiny 2 character

Spoiler Alert is a legendary sidearm in Destiny 2, which was reintroduced to the game in August for Season of the Lost, and bears the description: "Someone is going to die." That's not terribly remarkable in itself—that's pretty much how Destiny 2 goes, after all—but this particular weapon's presence could be a sign of very bad news ahead for one of the game's major characters.
New World server status day 2: thousands are still waiting in queues, dreading errors
https://www.pcgamer.com/uk/new-world-server-status-queues/
The day after launch, New World server queues continue to hit the thousands, with some players waiting hours to play Amazon's new MMO. Others, however, are jumping into servers immediately after creating their characters. It's a slightly odd situation: There are lots of New World servers with no queues—Amazon has added a bunch since launch—but many players still have to line up to join the servers where they started, or where their guildmates or friends are.
Fresh reports suggest New World is again helping brick expensive Nvidia GPUs
https://www.pcgamer.com/uk/new-world-making-gpus-unwell-again/
Uh oh, it looks like New World might be the catalyst for a few more bricked GPUs. During the recent ill-fated beta test it was discovered that a combination of factors were resulting in high-end Nvidia GPUs getting bricked while playing Amazon's MMO. And now there are anecdotal reports that it's happening again.

We've always known Rise would eventually arrive on PC, and now Capcom's released a trailer for the PC version showcasing some of the improvements it's made. What is great is that this isn't just a barebones port, which some folk were worried about, but takes advantage of the more powerful hardware: 4K resolution, ultrawide display option, an improved framerate, a bunch of graphical options, and of course all the DLC release thus far (a lot). Here's Capcom's site for the PC version.
