I had to stop watching that Ubisoft "PC version" trailer halfway through, because the narrator sounded entirely cringe, as well as half the writing that went into the trailer itself.

Trying to market standard PC (what should be the damn standard to AAA's) options as "brand new, never done before" features, like some extra goodie present, just comes off as both cringe and the feeling of being treated like an idiot.

Also no DLSS, likely only found on their shitty client and EGS, so it's yet another no-go for me.

I do wish they'd knock off the PC gimmick marketing though. They still slap DRM on their games, they limit where their games are sold and their PC versions feature console parity/demand far more for very little output gains. They don't ultimately care about PC gaming, but they want to pretend like they do.

Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.
