I dunno, this doesn't sound that much different to what has come before. MGS2 Substance and MGS3 Subsistence added a lot of additional content. 007: Agent Under Fire added bots to the XB/ GC ports. Bioshock PS3 got some exclusive content (which was later added to the Collection re-release) I think Ninja Gaiden Sigma ports are also different. No More Heroes for PS3, 360 includes boss battles from NMH2 in it. Tomb Raider 2015 got a re-release with added content (which may have also been DLC?) Unless I'm misunderstanding the thread. |
I would not use No More Heroes as an example. It runs much worse with a worse frame rate. Horrible collision detection. A lot of screen tearing and some bad input lag. It's a bad port. So the extra content is moot when a PS3 game could not run better than a Wii game. Good reason the modern HD ports are based on the Wii versions.
