Yes, GamePass is getting better all the time. this is true. Yet so is PSNow. Oh, and the weekly sales gap between the two has stayed pretty consistent ever since the launch of the new consoles.

Yes, two services can get better at the same time. Both Now and GamePass offer digital games and cloud streaming. Sony even has a cloud deal with MS now. But that's where the similarities end. You say Now hasn't had an impact on console sales, it's not supposed to. It isn't meant to be as appealing as GamePass is. Sony doesn't strike deals to put big third party titles in there day one. Sony doesn't put their own games in there until long after release. Does PS Now even have PS5 games? I am genuinely curious. I know earlier this year it was a situation where even if a PS5 version of a game exists and you download the PS4 version on Now, it is strictly the PS4 version.

This is exactly the reason I've always been so critical of Microsoft and the arguments people use to support them. All of the arguments make sense on paper, but there are no tangible results. "Oh, they have so many games in the works! Microsoft owns 23 studios!" yeah? Well then why do we not see a lot of new games coming out for the systems? Why are we nearly a year into the XSX's life and there's nothing on that system you can't get on PS consoles or Nintendo consoles or PC aside from 2 games? (You say there's more, but I couldn't find any. and so you know I keep my count to only games with 75 or higher metacritic; shit like Destruction All-Stars isn't helping PS with its 62 so neither is State of Decay 2 with its whatever it was, I think 67).

Because games take years to make and we're in the middle of a worldwide pandemic. Exactly what has come out on PS5 that you can't play on Nintendo or Xbox or PC or PS4 or PS3? Returnal and Ratchet and Destruction All-Stars? Woah. I don't care for your criteria, to each their own. I don't include remakes, so no Demon's Soul. Objectivity is fun. I said there are more than two games if you do include PC, as you were doing for PS5.

I could list all the games they are working on but who cares, ignorance is not an excuse for you.

"GamePass is going to be a game changer!" people say. Well....then why hasn't it changed the game? aside from getting more, newer games on the system, where does it have to grow? People have been saying this for 4 years, and while it seems to be the only real argument people make for XSX anymore, it's still not enough to compete. Some people care, of course. But then you look at Nintendo and Sony's offerings and both of those are selling far better, far more consistently, and have many more games you can't play on the competition. Look at games like Breath of the Wild and Mario Kart and Animal Crossing and God of War and Horizon Zero Dawn and The Last of Us Part 2...all games exclusive to their respective brand, sold remarkably well, and got great reviews. When was the last time Xbox had that?

It's only been a few years and they haven't even extended it beyond console and PC yet, outside of beta form in browsers and mobile apps. They're still going to have an app, a smart device of their own, bringing xCloud to Xbox One so you don't even need next gen hardware, etc etc. You're all caught up in sales and gaps, when most of us talk about the impact GamePass can have, it's not even going to be entirely reflected in sales. That's the road MS has been taking. The fact that you'd ask for Xbox exclusives that aren't on PC just shows how out of touch you are here.

It's nice to have hope, I'll never denounce that reality. buying new consoles, no matter the company it comes from, is always a long-term investment. nobody buys a PS5 because they just HAVE to have Bugsnax or even Returnal. The thing is, until we actually start seeing some of these promises on Microsoft's end come true, there's literally nothing anyone can say that will make it seem like Xbox is ever going to return to the same heights of the 360's glory days. Without any of their promises coming true, or any of their predictions being made into reality, it's just hopeful thoughts and wishes. Until the industry is actually changed, we can't assume GamePass is going to change the industry. it's had four years to do so, and while it's moved the needle a notch or two, it has not tipped the scales like Microsoft and its many fans have been saying since its inception.

Your perception is not the same as the reality we live in. What you say is happening is not happening. what you think is going to happen isn't likely to happen unless some drastic changes occur, first.

I don't think you really even know what my perception is, and yours certainly isn't based on reality. I already said before that Xbox won't beat PS in sales. And as for GamePass changing the industry, you're way early on that. Because, again, as I already said, we haven't even seen the onslaught of games yet that we know is coming. We haven't seen an "Xbox smart stick" or whatever they are calling it. Hell we haven't even seen what these next gen consoles can sell when they aren't heavily supply constrained in a pandemic.

Also you'll notice I began my previous post saying that I am happy I went SX to start the gen. So yes, it has tipped the scales for me. What I say is happening, is happening, for me. I haven't said this would become the norm and Xbox would shoot past PS or something.

Plus you seem to think there's ANY parity between the Dualsense and the Xbox Series X's controller. I thought that was as foregone a conclusion as one could possibly imagine (That the Dualsense is superior in literally every way except price, which even then isn't enough of a disparity to disregard the leap between them in terms of features and quality)

Which part of that confused you? Again, talking about value. What sounds better, paying $70-75 a piece for three new controllers for a couch co-op game that doesn't even use the functionality in any meaningful way or just using your existing controllers? Again, just value, idc for your opinion on the quality of either controller. What is difficult about this?

I'm not going to respond to you anymore, so enjoy the last word and keep waiting on that Xbox game that doesn't release on PC.
