If anything, it seems like Nintendo is generally dismissed by professional critics. They tend to emphasize the latest games from Sony, MS, EA, Activision, Ubisoft, Bethesda, or CD Projekt.. There are some periods, notably the Gamecube and Wii U eras, it's seemed to be that people have been much harsher on Nintendo than on its competitors.

....Yeah it gets a little annoying sometimes. It is almost like a game needs to have vulgarity to be popular.

But hey, 99% of Nintendo games can have dark skinned, muscular, or chubby woman without causing mass fan stupidity. Like that period with Nessa was one of the few times I ever saw that in Nintendo sphere and it lacked what bubbled up with Abby and Alloy and Kasumi......so sometimes that has a niche benefit.

And it isn't like they don't influence each other. Skyrim influenced Breath of the Wild and Breath of the Wild influenced Gods and Monsters. So not sure why critics are immune.

(....I'm going to hazard a guess at least youtube ones act like Nintendo is still doing that content creator program thing).

The Democratic Nintendo fan....is that a paradox? I'm fond of one of the more conservative companies in the industry, but I vote Liberally and view myself that way 90% of the time?
