If this turns out to be true, expect many people crying disaster about a price cut so early after the PAL launch. And we all know Sony's reply:
"It's a 10 year lifecycle, 4 months is nothing. This is not desperate, we're passing the cost savings to the customer as we always did in our Playstation business."
As for my opinion, I'll just say it is the right thing to do... PAL users have been shafted enough already.
