Part two of the news:

https://www.pcgamer.com/uk/new-hitman-3-roadmap-gives-us-a-lustful-agent-47-and-marrakesh-for-free/
IO has just released the latest roadmap for Hitman 3, showing off the newest deadly sin, a free level and more. This time we're getting lustful in Berlin—though you won't be seeing a horny Agent 47 anytime soon.

https://www.pcgamer.com/uk/the-waylanders-update-lets-you-have-a-fluffy-pet-spider/
Gato Studio recently announced the most important update for celtic RPG The Waylanders: more pets. Rangers can now choose between a panther, wolf, boar, or spider.
Serial Cleaners shows off its own take on Batman vision
https://www.pcgamer.com/uk/serial-cleaners-shows-off-its-own-take-on-batman-vision/
Whatever you call it, Batman Vision is a staple of the stealth genre, even if it doesn't strictly make sense—and even if it didn't originate with Batman. Lean up real close to a wall? Why yes, you can perfectly hear where people on the other side are looking. It's willing suspension of belief, because genre: we want to play that game, vision cones intact.
'We will not return to silence': Activision-Blizzard employees push back on Bobby Kotick statement
https://www.pcgamer.com/uk/activision-blizzard-employees-warn-todays-walkout-is-not-a-one-time-event/
Activision Blizzard employees taking part in today's work stoppage have issued a statement saying that while they are "pleased" by the change in the company's tone, last night's statement by CEO Bobby Kotick "fails to address critical elements at the heart of employee concerns."
Ubisoft employees say they've 'had enough' of 'empty promises,' offer solidarity to Activision Blizzard
https://www.pcgamer.com/uk/ubisoft-employees-say-theyve-had-enough-of-empty-promises-offer-solidarity-to-activision-blizzard/
Ubisoft employees have written an open letter expressing solidarity with Activision Blizzard employees taking part in a walkout protesting the company's response to a lawsuit alleging discrimination and sexual harassment at the company. The letter, which according to Axios has been signed by nearly 500 current and former Ubisoft employees, also calls on Ubisoft management to address the company's own problems with misconduct and abuse.
>> They're not the only ones to share their solidarity.
Halo Infinite lets you drop weapons for the first time in series history
https://www.pcgamer.com/uk/halo-infinite-lets-you-drop-weapons-for-the-first-time-in-series-history/
There's a little dance you have to do in any Halo game when you want to hand a sniper rifle or rocket launcher over to a teammate. You scramble around looking for another gun on the ground that you can swap for, trading what's in your hands for whatever junk is close by. And if there isn't anything close by, well, everyone's stuck with what they've got.
That ends in Halo Infinite. After 20 years, Halo has added a "drop weapon" button.
The Final Fantasy Pixel Remasters are out now and there's already a way to improve their crappy font
https://www.pcgamer.com/uk/the-final-fantasy-pixel-remasters-are-out-now-and-theres-already-a-way-to-improve-their-crappy-font/
(...)
The pixel art remasters use a bland sans serif font, but the bigger sin here is how squished it is. It looks like someone accidentally set the letter spacing to like, -100, leaving vast gulfs of empty space in the UI and a font that's pretty hard to read. Thankfully, as RPGSite has discovered, there's an easy way to make the new Final Fantasy font look much, much better.
>> It consists in editing some files. The article contains the full process.
Fortnite crosses over with Suicide Squad, featuring Bloodsport
https://www.pcgamer.com/uk/suicide-squad-fortnite/
Someone please get Idris Elba some coffee. The Suicide Squad star, playing elite killer Bloodsport in James Gunn's superhero reboot, is squeezing in some Fortnite promos between all his other work, and it's kind of amusing how he either A) has no clue what Fortnite is or B) agreed to do this promo ten seconds earlier when his agent meekly interrupted his Q&A.
Watch a full match of Halo Infinite multiplayer ahead of tomorrow's technical preview
https://www.pcgamer.com/uk/watch-a-full-match-of-halo-infinite-multiplayer-ahead-of-tomorrows-technical-preview/
343 Industries put on a stream today going over what's to come in the Halo Infinite technical preview that Halo Insiders will be playing this weekend. The preview stream for a preview build touched on a lot of nitty-gritty details that Halo fans will find interesting, like the new Academy aim training mode, the slew of new settings available to both console and PC players (including an FOV slider on Xbox), and the ability to drop weapons on-the-fly without having to swap one out for another.
Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water PC port gets a release date
https://www.pcgamer.com/uk/fatal-frame-maiden-of-black-water-pc-port-gets-a-release-date/
Koei Tecmo surprised us all when it confirmed a PC port for Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water at E3 2021. This will be the first Fatal Frame game to hit PC, but it's not exactly the most cherished game in the series. Also, it was a Wii U exclusive with a heavy reliance on that console's second screen.
But it's coming, and now we have a release date: October 28.
Rocket League gets James Bond's suave Aston Martin DB5
https://www.pcgamer.com/uk/rocket-league-gets-james-bonds-suave-aston-martin-db35/
James Bond is classy, Rocket League is classy, so it shouldn't come as any surprise that the two are coming together. Specifically, Rocket League is getting James Bond's Aston Martin DB5, which appears in several of the films: Goldfinger, Thunderball, GoldenEye, and a bunch of others.
Superhot VR gets review-bombed following the removal of suicide scenes
https://www.pcgamer.com/uk/superhot-vr-gets-review-bombed-following-the-removal-of-self-harm-scenes/
Superhot VR has been review-bombed on Steam following its removal of scenes involving the player harming or killing themselves.
One now-removed scene involved the player motioning the controller like a gun in order to shoot themselves, while another scene had the player jumping off a high-rise building. It's the type of thing we might see regularly when there's a level of separation between the monitor and ourselves, but the extra immersion brought with something like VR can cause scenes like these to be distressing for some.
Beautifully animated adventure-puzzler Omno is out today
https://www.pcgamer.com/uk/beautifully-animated-adventure-puzzler-omno-is-out-today/
Make a pilgrimage through a world of ancient wonders, is Omno's pitch. In a lost civilisation, with forests, deserts, and tundras, it's all really quite pretty.
Developer Jonas Manke is primarily an animator, and it shows. Much of the new release trailer is going: hey, look at how beautiful this movement is. You can run, glide, dash, surf, and teleport—which I think is what you're looking at in those slow-mo-to-zoom segments—but everything else in the world gets the same kind of detail, too. The jellyfish blobbing around, the flying ray flapping its fins.
PUBG's planes are now terrifying fiery death traps
https://www.pcgamer.com/uk/pubgs-planes-are-now-terrifying-fiery-death-traps/
Nowhere is safe in PUBG anymore, not even the plane. The latest update has added the terrifying chance of the aircraft crash-landing before you've even figured out where you're dropping.
Please excuse my bad English.
