I'm jealous! Also worth mentioning that I'm far beyond giving a crap about this virus anymore. I couldn't care less whether an event has "increased spread risk" or anything like that, I care that my life is being fucked up because I can't do any of the things I enjoy anymore and part of the reason for that is the Olympics. I also care that my tax money is being wasted on an event that's going to bring literally nothing to the country. No tourism, no ticket revenue, nothing worthwhile. I'm pretty opposed to holding any event full stop unless it can at least break even and therefore not waste taxpayer money. We had the Rugby World Cup 2 years ago, and that was great. I was too far away to go to any games, but the atmosphere in pubs was great, there were plenty of traveling fans passing through (lots of Irish especially), there were no extra restrictions on any activities, and the whole thing was a success. The olympics will have none of that. |
Oww, okay I get it. That’s fair. I’m with you on the beyond giving a crap, like I said, I was confused.
