- Windows 11 Will be Free upgrade to Windows 10 users

- 64 Bit only but still has support for 32 bit apps
- "cloud powered" Start Menu. It pulls in docs from OneDrive maybe?
- Panay says everything is faster. Including "other browsers" from Edge. Windows updates are 40 percent smaller.
- Background updates!
- The search bar searches PC, OneDrive, and the web.
- New multitasking: Snap Layouts
- If you need to deal with something that isn't in your tiled layout, it can be saved in a "Snap Group."
- When you unplug your monitor, the windows resize and don't break! And when you reconnect, they go back to where they should be!
- Going over Edge browser — one click to toggle vertical or horizontal tabs.
- You can make multiple desktops with their own custom wallpapers.
- Teams integration directly into Windows
- Window Widgets. That's the name of the feature.
- They're adding haptics to Windows 11 when you use a stylus.
- New touch keyboard:
- Auto HDR for Games
- Direct Storage
- Xbox Game Pass built into Windows 11 via the Xbox app.
- It integrates xCloud for cloud gaming.
- New Windows Store
- "We want you to bring any technology" to the store. PWA, Win32, and UWP are all supported.
- Developers can be in the store with their own "commerce engine" and Microsoft gets ZERO CUT.
- Developers can use their own payment systems if they want.
- Android Apps coming to windows.

Hoping they keep this bloat free and more game performant than Windows 10. The free upgrade definitely sounds nice, considering I originally held off getting 10, had to pay that lofty price, so if this works out well I could hop in on time.
The two things I mostly want from 11 are for them to not fuck around with OS updates and actually deliver the tech they promise on time (instead of announcing it years before). Far too many times have I gone for "needed" updates, only for them to provide me useless features (weather forecast bar anyone?) or negative game perf, forcing me to disable certain updates (which sometimes cannot even be fully disabled at all).
I also hope that gamepass doesn't crop up for me, since I don't see myself ever going for it. Should be something I can easily hide away. Don't really care for Windows Store, as it's still looking to be the same as ever.
I am still somewhat miffed that my Gears GOTY edition on Win 10 store still doesn't work properly to this day though. You'd think they would have shifted that to Steam by now.
