It doesn't seem like alot of talk is being generated about RPGs on the 360.
One interesting thing is the fact that the Xbox to 360 has done a near complete turnaround on the systems in terms of RPGs on each system.
On Xbox, we had:
KOTOR 1 & 2
Jade Empire
Kingdom Under Fire (kind of an RPG)
Sukedi
LOTR: Third Age
Fable (not an RPG, but considered one by some)
XMen Legends 1 & 2
Phantasy Star Online
And I believe that was it.
Sacred 2 was just announced on 360 a day or two ago. Sacred is an action-RPG in the vein of Diablo. http://pc.gamezone.com/gamesell/p23328.htm has info on the old-school top-down Sacred game.
This puts the 360 up to:
Enchant Arm
Oblivion
Marvel Ultimate Alliance
Two Worlds
Mass Effect
Fable 2 (again, not really an RPG, but I'll count it)
Kingdom Under Fire: Circle of Doom
Magna Carta 2
Fallout 3
Sacred 2
Elevon
Two Worlds
Blue Dragon
Lost Odyssey
Infinite Undiscovery
Eternal Sonata
Dario: Reverse Moon Legend
Culdicept Saga
FFXI
Cry On
Far East of Eden
Spectral Force 3
Phantasy Star Universe
KOTOR 3 (rumored)
A.S.H (a DS Mistwaker game but might come to 360?)
Odd how just a few years makes a difference for a company, hunh? Sadly enough, the 360 still hasn't garnered alot of J-RPG support, but it seems to of locked up the PC-RPG crowd entirely, and solidified any other WRPG out there.
Eternal Sonata
Two Worlds
Oblivion
Fable 2
Are the ones I like. I don't consider some you have on the list RPGs.
Marvel Ultimate Alliance I don't consider to be. It certainly doesn't play much like one, it plays like any arcade style superhero game, which is what it is.
How is fable 2 not really an RPG? It's practically the definition of one, it's almost exactly similar to Elder Scrolls, and Elder Scrolls is the definition of a traditional RPG.
Mass Effect would be the other one. Mass Effect is a GTA type game, which is not a traditional RPG.
Still, it's certainly better than nothing. Especially since 360 seems to focus so much on FPS style games that cater to Americans.
