I'm somewhat surprised that AMD has managed to increase their marketshare. Maybe they've managed to get more stock into the market that Nvidia.

Maybe Nvidia was less prone to increase their GPU orders as much as AMD was given that we don't know when this boom for new parts will end and that they already got burn during the last mining collapse, a point that JDP states in their report.

And yeah, the CPU segment will soon enter a new stage with the release of the dual architecture cores as well as the new RAM and PCI standards.

I sure hope Alder Lake will bring Intel back into the fight, other wise they'll be in trouble and we'll also be in trouble with AMD potentially rising prices again. We need both companies on(at?) their prime to keep competition going forward.
