The difference is that all those cores comes from a higher number of CUs, not because AMD is doubling its numbers per CU or SM as Nvidia did.

Yea that's true. It will be pretty crazy leap if it does become a reality. Hell if it really does perform 2-3x, it really will be the "Greatest Generational Leap."

We will see how it goes though. Cause it almost sounds too good to be true.
