AMD Reaffirms That Radeon RX 6000M RDNA 2 Mobile GPUs Are On Track For Q2 2021 Launch

I doubt we'll see a lot more desktop GPU cards anytime soon as all the new production will go to make those mobile GPUs.

Regarding AMD's attitude towards X370 and X470 board when it comes to the new features, I agree that it's a shitty attitude that doesn't do any favors to AMD's image.
But it's also true that not all X370 or X470 boards could support SAM or PCIE 4.0, only a small amount of them could. With that in mind, AMD could have decided to block those features to avoid confusing part of the market and the bad press from those users. It really is/was a "bad if you do, bad if you don't situation".

Yea but there should be a distinction between official and unofficial support. We have seen the official support slides from AMD which clearly states what they do and they don't support. If the motherboard vendors want to support their older platforms, AMD should leave them to their own devices since the people that will be looking deeper into unofficial support are enthusiasts that know what they are getting into.
