Also Metro devs released more info in their FAQ about the game.

Is this update available on Google Stadia or Amazon’s Luna?
No, the PC Enhanced Edition is not available through these streaming services.

But this one is a bit weird:

Will you be adding in AMD Super resolution later?
We will not be adding specific support for this, as it is not compatible with our rendering techniques. However we have our own Temporal based reconstruction tech implemented that natively provides the same or better image quality benefits for all hardware.

What a weird thing to say as AMD hasn't released Super Resolution yet unless the devs know something that we don't. Still, quite weird...

Those 5 streaming fans be like

Also, we know AMD announced SR, but I think what the Metro devs were getting at, is that SR is still a ways off (probably a year or so away), and that they aren't likely to return to an already 2yrs old game another year or two later to update it (Pretty much like a ton of games that could have been updated for DLSS but aren't, because studios are working on other newer titles).

Yea that's a good point. AMD really needs to get this out sooner than later.

Yeah AMD is pretty shady on the X370 compat. My Gigabyte was capable of PCIE 4.0 prior to newer AGESA for Zen 2 CPU's. And ASROCK X370 and B350 boards are 100% capable of running Zen 3 as would be other boards with an update. Its all marketing and BS.

Even lower boards are capable of SAM or resizable bar but its garden-walled to Zen 3 and X570/B550 boards. I guess they are a business, still scummy though.

Yea pretty much. This is the kind of shady stuff that I expect from AIBs, not AMD themselves. If a motherboard manufacturer wants to support their older mobos, why not let them? I am sure there is a business reason for it but still. As a gen 1 purchaser, really rubs me the wrong way. But I'll remember to wait next time loll.
