Well, at least that tells us that AMD is doing something about it, even if we don't know what it is yet.

The delay of Lovelace is surprising since it's a stop-gap between Ampere and Hopper, that got delayed as well. If true, I guess Ampere's SUPER cards will come later and be rebranded as the 4000 series. Some tweaks to the architecture and a better, or at least more refined, node could bring some performance gains.

The problem they'll have is if AMD can deliver its new products. This time they may actually win, without caveats.
