What is your opinion on gaming subscription services?

You don’t actually own any digital video game you buy though. 

I can buy MLB The Show for $60 and “own” it until MS or Sony decide otherwise. Or I can pay $50 for a year of GPU, get Show day one, play it for a month or so until im bored of it, then delete it and move on. And with that one game right there, I’ve already made up my investment with 12 months to go. 

It’s not just convenience it’s common sense.

Bold: I'm aware of that, that's why I never buy anything digital unless it's dirt cheap.

It may be common sense for you, because it works for you. I rather keep as much ownership as I can for my games.
