My review scale follows the pretty standard "grade" scale. Like a lot of things, every game starts at a 10. We always buy games in the hopes that's it's going to be good, so every game starts out "perfect" and gets docked points as issues or things come up that detract from the experience. Thus, it's pretty easily summed up numerically, too, following a normal subtraction method: Gameplay [-2]; Content [-1]; Presentation [0]. I know you're likely not a sub, but I did a video a LONG time ago on my review scale and why I'm sticking with it: it's pretty clear cut and not abstract like I find a lot of reviewers/scales to be lol
10 - 3 = 7 
With just three sections, -2 in Gameplay is a pretty heavy hit.
Having said that, this repetition is far worse than Destiny, and even *I* felt that Destiny was repetitive (something I stated in that review as well). Destiny had a rideable vehicle, it had open areas, it had social hubs, it had raids, it had multiplayer modes. There are no such varieties in Outriders. They score similarly because Destiny's story was paltry compared to Outriders, so where Outriders lacks the variety and is even MORE repetitive than Destiny, Destiny created an ebb and flow in their gameplay cycle that reduced the effect.
