The Tuesday news, part two:

Tomorrow's Hearthstone patch will nerf Deck of Lunacy, Jandice, Pen Flinger, and more
https://www.pcgamer.com/tomorrows-hearthstone-patch-will-nerf-deck-of-lunacy-jandice-pen-flinger-and-more/
ast week, Hearthstone lead designer Alec Dawson noted that much-needed balance changes to address the Hearthstone meta's descent into lunacy were on their way, and more details would be coming soon. Now, in a blog post just published, we've got those details—and yes, Deck of Lunacy is being nerfed. Its cost is doubling from 2 to 4 Mana, and hopefully that will be enough to prevent No Minion Mage from being such a regular annoyance on the ladder. (Right now there's a copy of Deck of Lunacy in 22.6 percent of all decks.)

Sorry, but EA says it's not teasing a new Mirror's Edge game
https://www.pcgamer.com/sorry-but-ea-says-its-not-teasing-a-new-mirrors-edge-game/
Just ahead of the weekend, EA France caused a bit of a stir with a tweet asking, "Who recognizes this game?" The attached image was heavily pixelated but immediately recognizable nonetheless as a still from the most excellent parkour game Mirror's Edge.

Outriders’ inventory wipe bug is ‘drastically reduced’ but not yet gone
https://www.pcgamer.com/outriders-inventory-wipe-bug-is-drastically-reduced-but-not-yet-gone/
(...) In a new Reddit thread dedicated to the inventory wipe bug, Square Enix said that it has made additional server-side changes that should "drastically reduce"—but not eliminate—the bug's occurrence, and asked players to only report inventory wipes that happen after 1 pm PT/4 pm ET on April 11. They’ve obliged, and while developers are clearly having trouble nailing down the issue, it sounds like progress is being made.

Cloud Chamber, the 2K Games studio tasked with developing a new BioShock game, has listed a handful of new dev positions on its website. The job descriptions appear to confirm at least two things about the long-in-gestation project: that it’ll be open world, and that like most open world games, it’ll have both primary and secondary quests.

After two weeks of silence on the surprise addition, and subsequent removal, of two new maps for Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare, Infinity Ward has finally explained that the 2019 shooter will still be getting the new maps—they just arrived a little earlier than intended.

https://www.pcgamer.com/steam-invites-and-tf2-community-servers-may-have-been-used-to-hijack-pcs-hack-hunters-claim/
An exploit in Source Engine games like Team Fortress 2 and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive may have let hackers remotely access players' PCs for years, a non-profit reverse-engineering group revealed this weekend.

Horrible things are going to happen to your villagers in Gord
https://www.pcgamer.com/horrible-things-are-going-to-happen-to-your-villagers-in-gord/
They're calling Gord a "strategy adventure" game, and I can't disagree with that label: There are narrative prompts and quest expeditions, and you'll gather resources and manage a town. They're also calling Gord "grim," and I can't find fault in that, either. It reminds me a little of Frostpunk, but without the punk and with giant spiders, child sacrifices, and some other very bad stuff. One guy gets swarmed by bugs (locusts?), and another guy's arm appears to spontaneously snap. Pretty grim!
