For anyone who has problems with the Wii not having enough games in its first year, don't buy another system in its first year. First year's always suck game wise, save your money and wait for the second or third year. The Wii hasn't had that bad a first year compared with prior systems (or the PS3) but nevertheless first years suck. That's the reason why I didn't buy an Xbox or DS for almost 2 years after they came, despite wanting to play 1 or 2 games on them.
For anyone (well, windbane) who thinks Nintendo should be producing more, how did they screw up by not making a massive financial bet on going from poor GC level sales to best initial sales of any video game console in history? Production has certainly gone up but we're in the holidays stockpile period so it's not surprising we haven't seen it in sales yet. The ramp up in production (assuming as I am that it has happened) will be seen in holiday sales. At any rate, until holiday shopping starts keeping the Wii a just out of supply gotta buy it the moment you see it buzz item suites Nintendo's interests just fine.
