Developer OverBorder Studio and publisher Team 17 has announced Thymesia, which is not so much a Soulslike as a Souls-very-like. Now up for https://store.steampowered.com/app/1343240/Thymesia/" target="_blank">wishlisting on Steam with a slated release date of December 31, 2021, Thymesia is an action-RPG with... look, it's various bits from the Souls games and Bloodborne. Hell, the lead character seems based on Eileen the Crow, and their fancy weapon is Priscilla's Lifehunt scythe.
Devolver’s new game is about a crow with a sword who harvests the souls of the dead

Death's Door, announced today by Devolver Digital, is a game about a crow—specifically, a crow with a sword. The crow has a sword, you see, because crows are responsible for harvesting the souls of the dead. Which is actually a much more mundane job than it sounds like, despite the sword. It gets more interesting when your assigned soul is swiped by someone else, though, because then you have to go get it.

With its fate sealed, game director Jonathan Warner announced today that after nearly a decade at the studio, he's moving on to other things.

Sega is Metacritic's top-ranked publisher of 2020
https://www.pcgamer.com/sega-is-metacritics-top-ranked-publisher-of-2020/
Every year review aggregator and argument-starter Metacritic publishes a list ranking videogame publishers based on the review scores of their releases over the previous 12 months. This time, Sega has been declared the winner thanks to games like the PC version of Persona 4 Golden (87), Football Manager 2021 (85), Yakuza: Like a Dragon (83), and various Total War DLCs that all averaged scores of 80. Re-releases of old games certainly helped, like the Xbox One port of Yakuza 0, which scored a 90.
>> Second comes Annapurna Interactive, followed by Capcom and Sony.

There might only be 20 seconds of footage in Unbeatable's debut trailer, but developer D-Cell Games' debut rhythm-fighter is already one of the hottest things I've seen this year.

The new "next-gen golf video game" is being developed by EA's Tiburon studio, which has recently been working on the Madden and NBA Live series, but was also the lead studio on EA's last generation of PGA games (the final entry, Rory McIlroy's PGA Tour, released in 2016).
