Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T here. Has everything I need, at a fantastic price/performance ratio. Core requirement was that the phone must be supported by LineageOS, because I hate the idea of having to buy a new phone just because the device doesn't get any more updates. There have been no important new features in smartphone technology for years, they have become mature technology, for me there's just no more reason to buy a new phone every 1-2 years.
In my opinion, that is the one area where iOS devices >>>> the average Android device: they get updates for much longer. I'd never get myself an iPhone though, I'd honestly prefer even the cheapest Android phone over the most expensive iPhone (if I had to actually use it and couldn't simply sell it of course).
