EU ordered 300m from AZ, UK 100m, it was impossible to keep up with EU deal so they prioritised UK that also trusted the vaccine more (there are about 20m unused doses in the EU) and also approved the vaccine 3 weeks earlier (EU had to get approval from all 27 members), nothing to do with a super quality deal from a super smart Brexit government (highest death ratio in Europe anyone)
UK has vaccinated 30m thus far, the EU has vaccinated 60m, one of the rare cases where EU's size is not in its favor
