Really do wish manufacturers would try push OLED for monitors. If they made a 35" UW OLED with HDMI 2.1 that would be perfect.

OLED shares the same issue as Plasma for desktops... Displays on PC can sit on a static screen for 10+ hours... And no manufacturer wants to cover that under it's warranty with burn in.

I think we will need to wait for Micro-LED panels to become a thing and ditch LCD/OLED entirely.

TBH. Happy with my VA 144hz 32" panel for the time being. (That and I don't really have much time for gaming these days.)

Pretty much going to stick with my current LCD panels for the next 5+ years until Micro-LED becomes a thing I think, which is the technology that could replace OLED.

Yeah OLED needs more TLC. I mean more tech-savvy people can get around it but that does sound like a recipe for disaster for the returns department lol.

Sad that there isn't really anything else to replace VA/IPS panels in the near future. Micro-LED's will take years to go mainstream OLED is the only real logical step up with mass production in mind :/
