story- when it´s good, definitely yes
cutscenes- when they are well planned, well placed, well written and have good voice overs, then definitely yes. If they fit all the above criterias, then long cutscenes wouldn´t mind me at all. On the contrary, because they would be so well made, I would consider them a present.
