Looking forward to seeing Intel's big discrete GPU. It'll be great if Xe-HPG is successful commercially as the GPU situation is kinda dire rn. Releasing something comparable to a 3070 with similarly performing RT (or better) would be great this year. And keep Nvidia/AMD on their toes too.

Yea in some ways, I am actually hoping Intel GPUs will bring something revolutionary to the market even if it's mid-ranged to lower end. Cause I am not really liking the offerings from both Nvidia and AMD when you consider the prices. Especially the 3060 which is effectively just a 12 GB 2060 Super.

Same. Both companies (Nvidia/AMD) have gotten a bit too complacent and greedy and with the current world situation they know they can sell out whatever they make. We need someone else like Intel who can shake things up a bit. I know GPU prices most likely continue to climb but a Xe could be a absolute hit if they price the stack right and have the opportunity to capture a market-share. They could swoop in an undercut RX and RTX cards and make a big showing for gamers who've been struggling to get a new GPU for the PC for a sane prices.

I mean low-mid ranged cards shouldn't be anywhere near the $500 mark. Lets hope availability is good.
